A different kind of love

In the absence of happiness, comes sorrow. In the absence of a plan, comes disarray. In the absence of a husband, comes lonesomeness, and a great desire for companionship. In the absence of a wife, comes discomfort. In the absence of faithfulness, comes infidelity and hurt. Importantly for all mankind, in the absence of love, comes hate and war. But, deeply, in the presence of love, is a different kind of love. And what any woman deserves is a different kind of love. I deserve a different kind of love.

In the words of Chrisette Michele; “Take me back in the day when loving was PURE. Love is not going away, love is always SECURE. Life is not always perfect, but love is always FOREVER.”
I really long for a different kind of love.  A love that exists. A love that is desired. A love that feels genuine. A love that is easy to forgive.  A love that has no fear. A love that shares grace. A love that makes the foul beautiful. A love that makes you smile when you are tired. A love that makes a bad day better. A love that has no restrictions. A love that heals. Yes, that different kind of love.
